Opinions of the students related to interaction among emotional intelligence-academical success related to self evaluation-gender-attitude of the family in the example of University of Dicle

The general purpose of the research is to describe opinions of the students related to interaction among emotional intelligence-academical success related to self evaluation-gender-attitude of the family in the example of University of Dicle. Related to this general purpose,the opinions of the students are examined in the context of interaction among current and probable education probable educational result of emotional intelligence and academical success. The scale of Emotional intelligence used in the research was improved by Ergin, İşmen, Özbacı in 1999. The scale is established by 108 elements and 3 sub-test that are Understanding the own Emotions, understanding the Others? Emotions and managing the Emotions. The research can be applicated to all individuals above the age of 9 and no time-limit for the application. In addition; a survey is improved and applicated to put across the sociodemographic characteristics of the students. For putting across the relationship between Emotional Intelligence Tests and Sub-Tests and Academic Success, The Pearson Moments Multiply correlation is calculated that is being used for measuring between two continuous varieties. For the purpose of putting across the countdown of the priorities of understanding the academic success by Emotional Intelligence scale tests and subtests, plural regretion analysis is used. ?a king of analysis for guessing dependent variety that has relation with 2 or more independent variety concerning with independent variety. - One way variance analysis (ANOVA) is used for testing if it is very different from zero that the difference of the average between two or more unrelationed instances, Lastly, unrelationed t-test is used for testing the coherence of the difference between 2 unrelationed averages. Looking in general to the findings of the research, variable results are obtained between Emotional Intelligence and Academic Success. In this research we get coherence between Emotional Intelligence scores and Academic success for some faculties, but for some other faculties no meaningful relations. Looking to relations between emotional Intelligence and Academic Success it is possible to state bye the findings of the research that there?s a relation between the sub-scale of understanding the Own Emotions and Academic Success but no relations between Managing the Emotions and Academic Success.
