Abstract (EN)

This research was conducted to determine the exercise attitudes of pregnant women living in Düzce who graduated from university. In this study, exercise approaches before and during pregnancy were examined. The universe of our study is the university graduates pregnant women and the sample is 10 university graduate pregnant women who lives in Düzce. The case science method, one of the qualitative research designs, is used in this research. A semi-structured interview form was used In the gathering of the data. Face-to-face interviews were conducted with university graduates who were in different professional groups and different periods of their pregnancy. The analysis of the data utilized the NVIVO 11 statistical program. Although participants thought that they were useful for their health, they were found to have experienced various fears. Because of these fears and the fact that specialist doctors do not direct them to exercise, it has been determined that pregnant women who have no problems in their pregnancies are also away from exercise. As a result, it was seen that the pre-pregnancy and the gestational period exercise attitudes of university graduates were different. It has been found that women who are interested in sports and early sports since early ages have been away from exercise for various reasons after conception. Although they believed in the benefits of exercise, they did not exercise during pregnancy. Keywords: Pregnant, Exercise, Attitude.
