Abstract (EN)
Dyspareunia is an important sexual dysfunction that causes great damage to women's quality of life and can be seen widely in clinical practice. In this study, it is aimed to compare the incidence of dyspareunia among women who regularly practice clinical pilates and who live sedentary, as a result of the principle of concentration, determination and precision in strengthening the pelvic floor muscles of clinical pilates exercises. Our study was carried out by including sedentary women who regularly do clinical pilates in a pilates studio in Eyüpsultan district of Istanbul and reside in the same district on a voluntary basis. The average age of our study with 60 women is 29.25, and the average height is 163,80. Severe libido disorder, which is the subtitle of the Carol Postpartum Dyspareunia Evaluation Questionnaire, was found in the sedentary group with a difference of 3.3%. (p<0.05) There was no statistically significant difference between the groups with moderate pain frequency and intensity (p<0.05). There was no significant difference between the groups with the frequency of pain during vaginal penetration. (p<0.05) There was no significant difference between the groups with the frequency of pain during vaginal intercourse.
