Analyzing the effect of affiliation type in its being tended towards tendency to violence of the adolescence with the perception of parents rejection

This study aims to evaulate receiving disciplinary punishment or not reasoned by violence with the high school students within the scope of parents rejection and affiliation styles. It has been aimed to study the protective and risk factors related violence tendency besides the parents rejection and affiliation. The study group of the research consists of 145 voluntary students including 43 students received disciplinary punishment reasoned by violence and 102 students who did not receive any punishment chosen at random from high schools during 2016-2017 academic year in Şişli and Kağıthane Districts, Istanbul Province. Research data consist of Parents Affiliation Rejecetion Scale (Mother-Father Form) (PARS/Mother-Father), Violence Tendency Scale (VTS) and Close Relationships Experiences Inventory-1 (CREI-I). The research was carried out by descritive analysis, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis H test, Spearman Correalation analysis, Shapiro-Wilk and multi regression analysis. The data obtained was resolved by "SPSS for Windows 18.0" with computer and the significance levels were also stated and the findings were presented in the tables according to the aims of the study. As a result of the study, it has been observed that there are significant differences about receiving disciplinary punishment or not reasoned by violence of the students regarding to parents rejection or affiliation. Sense of violence and behaviour of committing violence of male students are in high levels compared to female students. According to Affiliation Experiences Inventory it has been observed that avoiding with female students is at higher level. With the students given disciplinary punishment reasoned violence or not given, it has been observed that there is weak and contra correleation between warmth/tenderness; there is a positive and directly correlation between hostility/aggression and anxious affiliation according to Parents Rejection Scale Maternal Form. With the studentds given disciplinary punishment reasoned violence or not given, it has been observed that there is very weak and positive significant correlation between negligence and anxious affiliation.
