Abstract (EN)

In this study, Nuri Pakdil, who is known as an East-West perception and an Islamic thinker, writer and intellectual, was taken into focus in the literature. The main purpose is to evaluate the perspective of the literary magazine, which started its publishing life in February 1969, to the bipolar world in which it was published, and its perspective on eastern and western civilizations. It can be said that this study is essentially to evaluate the view of the poet to the eastern and western civilizations, as Pakdil determined the publication policy of the journal with his own name and various writings and translated articles. Pakdil, who combines his literary identity with his conservative and religious views, did not give any peculiarity in terms of his literary quality, continued his tradition, Necip Fazıl and Sezai Karakoç, and saw literature as a means of declining Islamic civilization to return to its shining time. Literature, from many writers and poets of the Muslim world, to keep the ongoing agenda of the Islamic world on its agenda has served this purpose. The main lines of the civilization design that Pakdil, who described as the 'Poet of Jerusalem', through the magazine and supported with his works were made visible.
