Abstract (EN)

The approaches of the literature histories that we evaluate to the new Turkish literature are tried to be identified in this study. In the introduction part; the descriptions of literature investigators about literature history, the duties of the literature historians, literature history and literature criticism relationship, literature history and science history relationship, literature history writing methods, start of literature historiography in Turkish literature and the definitions of the literature histories that come to prominence are dwelled on. In the first part of the study which contains three parts, classification systems of the literature histories that we dealt with and the approaches to the literary periods are identified.In the second part the approaches of the literature histories to the artists are determined. Within this context the administration of biographical information of the artists and evolution of their literary characters are dwelled on. In the third part the approaches of literature histories to the literary genres and works are identified. In literature histories how the literary genres and works are presented and evaluated according to which criteria are determined.In the conclusion part; periods, genres, works, similarities and differences about evaluating the artists of literature histories that we evaluate are presented starting with classifications systems. With this thesis the evolution methods of literature histories about new Turkish literature and how they studied it are identified.
