Abstract (EN)

This study was carried out to determine the systematic hydraulic performances of drip irrigation in apple orchards in Balkırı, Eyüpler, Kırıntı, Tepeli and Yukarıgökdere villages located in Boğazova, Eğirdir District of Isparta province, which is one of the most important apple production regions of Turkey. For this purpose, a total of 58 plots were selected to represent the region according to the separator size ranges in these villages. In these selected plots, lateral pressure changes (hdeg), lateral flow rate changes (qdeg), standards (CV), Christiansen uniformity (CU), distribution uniformity (DU), dripper flow rate uniformity (EU), statistical uniformity (Us) and system spread uniformity were determined. As a result of the research, lateral flow rate change (qdeg) was determined as between 9.1-55.6%, lateral pressure changes (hdeg) as between 8.3-77.5%, dripper flow rate change (CV) as between 6-53.5%, Christiansen uniformity coefficient (CU) as between 60.4-95.3%, distribution uniformity (DU) as between 34.4-92.6%, dripper flow rate uniformity (EU) as between 18.7-88.6%, statistical uniformity (Us) as between 46.5-94% and system emission uniformity (Eua) as between 35.4-90.0%. While the effect of parcel groups on lateral flow rate change (qdeg) (p<0.05) and lateral pressure change (qdeg) (p<0.01) was significant, their effect on other hydraulic parameters was found to be insignificant.
