The effect of leadership behaviors of management in educational institutios to the organizational climate and to the instructors perfomance

Human beings are either directed or being deirected throughout history. With the development of scientific management concept, this concept has been the subject of many researches and studies. In this study ?leadership behaviors? are handled under management science and the effect of these behaviours both to the climate of educational institutions and the performance of instructors are inspected. The studiy is performed by questionnaire modelling which is applied to the 230 instructors in 8 Industrial Engineering Collages in Istanbul Anatolian site in 2008 spring semester.After analysing the results it has been observed that there is a positive connection between success oriented leadership, participator leadership, supportive leadership, mandatory leadership and organizational climate. Also connection between success oriented climate and task oriented performance; participator leadership and student centered performance; organisational climate and task and student centered performance.
