The understanding of miracles of ahl al-hadith and place in hadith literature

Ahl al-hadith transmitted the texts of sunnah, the second source of Islam, orally and in writing to the next generations. The subject of miracle is a phenomenon that has attracted the attention of humanity since ancient times. The scholars of ahl al-hadith recorded the sensational narratives of miracle in the narrations in different sections of their books during and after the classification period. In this study, the approach and evaluation styles of ahl al-hadith to the narrations of miracle are examined and compared with other schools. The study consists of three main chapters. The first chapter examines the concept of miracle and how the schools of theology handle this concept. In the second part, information about the formation process of the literature of dela'il al-nubuwwa is given through the period of the narrations of miracle in the sources. In the third part, the approaches of ahl al-hadith to miracle narrations are revealed by examining the topics under which ahl al-hadith imams recorded miracle narrations in hadith books.
