Abstract (EN)
In developing countries such as Turkey, where electrical energy is increasingly globalized and resources are limited, social and economic factors should be taken into account in order to ensure the supply-demand balance of electricity consumption. This will give us a reference for use in long-term projects by evaluating the long-term load estimation. Thus, long-term load forecasts allow electricity consumption to be planned over a long period of time. Since it is impossible to produce electrical energy by knowing the electricity consumption in advance, the values closest to the real value are taken as a basis. Obtaining these values can be accomplished by different methods. In this thesis, Turkey's electricity consumption in 2030 is estimated by using artificial intelligence methods and regression analysis, and by using 1960-2021 population, electricity consumption, inflation, unemployment, GDP, growth, CPI and foreign debt data for the years 2022-2030.
