Abstract (EN)
When mentioning the events of the Ayyubid era and the reign of Sultan Salah Aldin Alayubi in particular، most historians address the era of Islamic tournaments and the conquest of Jerusalem and the battle of Hittin، and a few researchers in the history of the Middle Ages address the cultural، scientific and social aspects of that rapid and short period، which witnessed the rapid flow of events such as the fall of sultanates and states and the emergence of new sultanates and states in Iraq and the Levant and Egypt. The Ayyubid era in general and the era of Salah Aldin Alayubi، in particular، was characterized by the signs of the cultural renaissance. In his reign، the schools and religious institutes and the role of Schools of memorization of the Koran، and the scientific movement witnessed a great prosperity، as well as its support for scholars and students of science. In addition، the Ayyubid era has witnessed important historical milestones، most of which have reached the present day، such as the corners (Zawaya)، schools، mosques، and the Hospital (The Bimarstanat) and other important edifices of civilization. Therefore we can conclude that the Ayyubid era was the most renaissance and prosperity in the history of Islamic civilization as well as being an era of reconciliation and the era of Islamic unity against wars and the crusades.
