Settlement texture and traditional houses of Hüseynik Köyiçi region of Elazığ city

In this study, Hüseynik Köyiçi region in the Ulukent neighborhood of Elazığ province, having an important place with its historical value and qualified structures, was investigated. The traditional settlement and traditional houses of the study region were analyzed, and then the gathered data and these structures were recorded. The study consists of five sections. In the first section, the underlying problem, the purpose of the study, scope and importance of the study were explained. In the second section, the related literature was reviewed. In the third section, firstly, traditional texture and traditional house terms were examined and information about Hüseynik Köyiçi region settlement properties was revealed. The region and architectural properties of the houses were evaluated based on these information and through the tables formed according to the data coming from research conducted in the field. The fourth section is the section where the analyses of the study area were made and elaborated. In the fifth section, as discussion and conclusion sections, the place and the importance of the region in the traditional house architecture was emphasized and the requirement for conservation of these places was stressed.
