Thematic examination of the noun vocabulary of Elazığ region dialect

Elazığ region, which is located within the dialect of the Eastern Group, has been tried to reveal the thematic vocabulary by starting from the previously compiled texts. In the introduction part of the study; language, the relationship between language and culture, dialect and culture term replace the dialect. In the first part of the thesis, the words defined by scanning books, theses and articles are listed under family and society, tools, clothing, cookware and bakeware, professional body, measurement, treatment and disease, place and time. In the third part of the thesis, according to the ways in which words are created, they are simple form, derived form and studied under three titles as a group of words. In the fourth part of the thesis, the original analysis of the words in the dialect of the region was made and the distribution of the words of foreign origin was determined. In the result section; the results of the analysis of the region's dialect in four titles are listed as materials. The result section includes similarities in the dialect of the region and differences in Turkish standard language and old Anatolian Turkish. The results obtained from the sections of the thesis are given in the tables so that all the results can be seen together and understood.
