Abstract (EN)

In this study; The adsorbent used activated carbon obtained from the apple shell. Activated carbon was subjected to chemical activation with ZnCl2. The BET surface area was measured as 1067,01 m2 / g. Crystal Violet and Malachite Green were used as dyestuff. The effect of initial dye concentration and temperature on adsorption was investigated. Five different starting concentrations were used for both dyes. Compatibility with five different adsorption isotherms has been investigated and it has been determined that it conforms to the Freundlich adsorption isotherm. Experimental studies were carried out at three different temperatures with different initial concentrations and kinetic velocity models were examined. Pseudo 2nd Degree Kinetic model was found to be more suitable for our study. Furthermore, it has been seen the adsorption was reversible and ekzothermic with thermodynamic parameters were calculated. Key words Adsorption, activated carbon, dyestuff, isotherm, kinetics.
