Syntax review of Emine Işınsu's novels "Sancı" and "Küçük Dünya"

Language is a system of symbols, explanations, writings and rules used to communicate between individuals or communities. It is used to express oneself, communicate and share. Basically, it is a communication tool that makes it possible to transfer feelings and thoughts between people. Turkish language is an important language that has a wide audience around the world. The cultural and historical structure and importance of Turkish is quite great. Language is an important part of the structure of a society. Studies on Turkish help to transfer the cultural values, formations, changes, standards and forms of expression carried by the language to future generations. It is very important to examine the development and change of language, which is a living entity. While conducting research on the language, it is very important for our language to examine the writers, poets and their works who have made great contributions to the language. By examining the word groups and sentence structures in the works of the authors discussed, we contribute to the studies that have been done or will be done in this field and also gain information about the author's ability to use language, style and world of thought. In this study conducted for this purpose, the novels "Sancı" and "Küçük Dünya" by Emine Işınsu, who has made many contributions to the Turkish language with her works, are discussed. Works; It was examined in terms of word groups, judgment groups and sentence types. In the first part of the study, information about Emine Işınsu's life, works, literary personality, language and stylistic features is presented. In the second section, word groups, in the third section, judgment groups, and in the fourth section, sentence types were examined. While examining word groups, judgment groups and sentence types, sample sentences related to each heading were discussed and these sentences were analyzed. However, sufficient examples could not be found for some topics. It is expected that this study in the field of syntax will contribute to the literature.
