The evaluation of the attitudes of tecnical high school third grade students towards workplace and training in workplace

The aim of the research is to investigate the attitudes of Technical High School students at the workplaces and the training in the work places. General Recearch Mode is being practised during this study. Participants consist of 190 technical high school students (177 male,13 female from eight Technical High Schools at Anatolian part of Istanbul who are Grade 11. Three scales were used to collect data-First was the personel information scale; Second and third were attitudes at scale of workpleces and scale of the training in workplaces,wohich was created by Gülsoy (2007), paired sample t test, one way analysis of variance and tukey test were used to analyze data by using SPSS. According to the results;43.3 percent of workplaces didn?t have Education Departmant the responsible trainers were technicion of % 26.3 at workplaces; 1-10 workers were working %33.7% at workplaces and %57.9 of trainers worked more than 8 hours a day in general,trainers have good conditions and attitudes in the workplaces and they have got the best training. There were significant diffirences between trainers who were trained at the workplaces which had or which didn?t have Education Departmant. Responsible teachers from diffirent department or was not;whose who and who arranged the workplace and empyloyment hours a day and training teachers in the workplace for the students (p<0.05). There were no significant difference beetween trainees, whose sex is male or female, whose responsible teacher did regular visiting to the workplace or not, to whom paid money by the workplace or not, towards the workplace (p>0.05). There were significant difference beetween trainees, whose responsible teacher did regular visiting to the workplace or not, whose workplace found by whom, whose employment hours a day and whose training responsibles in the workplace towards taining in workplace (p<0.05).There were no significant difference beetween trainees, who male or female, who were trained in workplaces that did and didn?t have education departmant, whose responsibles teachers were form different departmant or not, to whom paid money by the workplace or not, towards training in the workplace (p>0.05).
