Evaluation the problems that encountered on application of the visual arts lesson according to teacher's opinion

In this thesis study, in which Structural problems of the visual arts course is evaluated by visual arts course teacers; screening method is used and the datas are collected based on the survey technique. Survey in this thesis study, is realized in the Elazığ city center and it's boroughs, with the participation of the 90 Visual Arts teachers from 79 secondary schooll. In the research, in the light of the obtained datas from the survey which are applied to visual arts teachers is confirmed that the teachers think that they could reach to the level of secondary school visual arts curriculum application in great extend. However, it is confirmed the excistence of various problems wich prevent reaching to the goals of the visual arts course, wich the visual arts teachers wipe out such as absence of visual arts courses, the inadequacy of course periods, the society indifference, towards to the visual arts course and the course teachers, financial difficulties, the necessery of doing extra job, feeling inadequate ownself. At the end of the research, for the purpose of applying the visual arts and reaching it's general purpose curiculum with the least problems, some suggestions are made such as owning a visual arts class of the secondary schools, raising the lesson hours to the least two hours in a week and developing of the visual arts curriculum in the directions of the visual arts teacher's views.
