Abstract (EN)

The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between relational resilience, family of origin relationships, and self-differentiation in married individuals. A total of 419 married individuals participated in the study. The instruments used in the study to collect data were "The Life Events Form", "The Relational Resilience Scale", "The Family of Origin Relationships Inventory", "The Differentiation of Self Scale" and a "Personal Information Form" designed by the researcher. According to the research findings, a low positive and significant relationship was found between family of origin relationships and relational resilience of married individuals and a moderate positive and significant relationship was found between self-differentiation and relational resilience. In addition, the research results showed that family of origin relationships and self-differentiation predicted 13.5% of the variance in relational resilience. The obtained results were discussed in relation to previous studies in the literature. Based on the research findings, recommendations were made for practitioners and researchers working in the field of couple and family counseling.
