Abstract (EN)

In this work, it is aimed to examine the marital adjustment, attribution and resilience of the couples who have forced, arranged and love marriages. For this reason, the marital adjustment, attribution and resilience for adults tests are applied to the 370 participant who are randomly chosen within the boundaries of Van and Hakkari during May-July in 2016 and we analyzed if there is a difference in the concept from the aspect of marriage types. For the data analysis, SPSS 20.0 statics software is used.According to the results, the difference between the group average is found statically meaningful when the marital adjustment test total point average is analyzed according to the marriage types factor. The difference between the group average is found statically meaningful when the marital attribution test total point average is examined according to the marriage types factor.The difference between the group average is found statically meaningful when the marital resilience for adults test total point average is investigated according to the marriage types factor. These results indicated that the group of love marriage is the most advantageous one while the group of forced marriage is the most disadvantageous; besides, the group of arranged marriage is in the middle on marital adjustment, attribution and resilience.
