Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted in climate controlled plastic greenhouses. The effects of grafted cucumbers obtained from these combinations on plant growth, yield and quality were investigated by grafting Beith Alfa cucumber on some pumpkin and melon species which may be rootstock candidates. Study; TZ148 F1, which is used for watermelon and commercially used for more watermelon, was used as cucumber cultivar and Bereket F1 cucumber. The untreated fertility F1 and fertility F1 / fertility F1 vaccine combination were used as control group. Early yield, total yield, plant height, number of fruits per plant, first flower formation, leaf area, rootstock-pen diameter, fruit diameter, fruit height, fruit weight, fruit color, water soluble dry matter amount (TA), pH, EC were investigated. According to the results of the research, it was determined that rootstocks had a statistically significant effect on plant height, early yield and total yield, fruit number. The highest value in terms of plant height was obtained from cucumber plant grafted on TZ 148 F1 rootstock, while the highest value was obtained from TZ 148 F1 rootstocks in early yield. The total yields of the unvaccinated (control) group, grafted on itself (Fertility F1 / Fertility F1) and TZ 148 F1 were found to be higher than the yields of the combinations. At the end of this study, the determination of suitable rootstock combination showed positive effect on plant growth, yield and quality in cucumber cultivation and it was concluded that selected rootstocks were important for grafted seedling use. In the use of grafted seedlings at the same time between the rootstock-scion harmony also affects the earliness. For this reason, it is concluded that more research is needed for selection of cucumber suitable rootstock.
