Abstract (EN)

Our country, Turkey is located active seismic zone and for this reason fierce earthquakes were suffered recently. Today earthquakes still continue and people encounter this earthquakes damages. these devastating earthquakes both have been cost life and property lost. To prevent earthquake damage some regulations prepared and put into effect. Earthquake resistant buildings, can be built thanks to this regulations. in the thesis study, Two different flooring systems were selected for the 12-storey reinforced concrete structure designed by TDY 2007 and TBDY 2018 regulations. For the 4 earthquake zones in TDY 2007, two locations were determined from each earthquake zone and a total of 24 different building models were created. The short and long period values of these determined locations were obtained from the 2018 Turkey Earthquake risk map. Earthquake ground motion is accepted as DD-2, and domestic ground class is accepted ZC. The design of acceleration spectra, which are different in TDY 2007 and TBDY 2018 regulations, were calculated statically with the ideCAD program. The displacement, relative storey drifts, storey shear forces reached after the analysis were obtained and were compared by showing them with graphics. Consequently; In TBDY 2018, it was seen that more realistic and accurate results were achieved with different values and location -specific - values according to the coordinates of the locations.
