Abstract (EN)
II ABSTRACT This study was carried out on 3r year students of Science Education departments to find out the misconceptions related to piles and electrolysis cells taught in chemistry course and compare the ratios of the misconceptions studying in the same department of different universities. There was a piles and electrolysis cells conceptual test developed for this purpose. This test was applied to 179 3rd year Science Education students studying in different universities located in Ankara province. The data obtained revealed that the students have various misconceptions related to piles and electrolysis cells and the ratio of this misconceptions vary according to universities.
