Web based instruction in science teaching

Especialiy, Jearners education is system, it can be saidIeamers and the teacflers.Moreover, Science lesson which is abstract and for the students generaliy have difficultİes in understanding must be concrete by animations, videos and interesting activities and so, the web si wiil heip active and interesting instruction.The aim of this study is to prepare web site which is suitable teaching strategies based on constructivist theory in order to make prİmary scbool students grasp and concretize the unit ` in our life? wtıİch includes abstract concepts and phenomena and also to examine the effects of web base teaching on student?s achievement and attitude of students towards science and computer.Sa, the web site which includes of the unit eIectric in our life? is prepared by the heiping of the experts suggestions and opinions. The effectiveness of the web site was examined in twa pnmary schools. 76 participants of the 6 class took part in the study (in sohool A 46 students, 23 experimental and 23 control) (in school B there are 30 students, 15 experimental, 15 control). in experimental group web instruction were taught whereas control group were taught in a traditional way.in experimental group, web site is watched by usirıg projection and teacher processes lesson hem.pre and groups attituciein each sctıool achievement test, attitude scale towards seience and computer were used as post tests. Treatmerıt took three week.The findhgs indicate tfiat before treatment there is na significant difterence between tfle in achievement test, attitude scale towards science and computer.But after treatment, there is a signiflcant difference between the groups in achievement test, scale towards science and computer in favor of experimental groups.
