Firdevsî-i Rûmî's work that named Süleymân-nâme (14 – 15th volumes) text analysing

In this study, accepted 15th century's historians and most productive artist Firdevsi-i Rumi's who is also known as Firdevsi-i Tavil's 82 volumes work Süleyman-namei Kebir's 14th and 15th volumes were analysed. In the analyses of work H. 1526 inventory record publication was took in consideration that is found in Topkapı Palace Nation Library. Süleyman-name is generally considered as prosaic but it is a work written both prosaic and poetic. In this work( which depicts Solomon's life mithological and legendary type) there are important information about so many topics such geography, medicine, astronomy, history and mithology. As it can be a source for old Turkish Literature and sufistic it is very significant for Turkish Literature. Morever the work is written by allegoric style. The work is divided into two main parts: one is text analyses the other one is translation -writing. In analyses part, work's sources, story factors, prosaic and poetic charecteristics, language and punctuation charecteristics and sufi style were struggled to reveal. In the second section, work's translation-writing style was took into consideration and it was latinized.
