Abstract (EN)

This study aimed the effect of different combined training on young soccer players' physical performance, psychophysiological responses and technical skills. Thirty-six male soccer players under 15 years age category (13.5±1.29 years, height 160±8.55 cm, body weight 48±8.10 kg) were divided into YŞAA+DAO and OŞSA+DAO for eight weeks. Pre-test and post-test elements included anthropometric measurements, Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Test, Level 1 (YYIRT-1) test, technical test, sprint tests, jump test, repeated sprint test, agility test, three corner running test, 30-15 Interval Fitness tests. In addition, psychophysiological tests were also determined before and after each training session. The results demonstrated that YŞAA+DAO training induced higher performance and psychophysiological responses except for the anthropometric measurements (p<0.05) compared with OŞSA+DAO group. These results confirmed that SSG combined with self-paced high-intensity interval training might be a more effective training regime to improve aerobic fitness, anaerobic capacity and technical ability in young soccer players.
