Abstract (EN)
Purpose: This study aims to reveal the relationship between the parameters of the anaerobic threshold fixed to the four mmol/L lactate running speed (ATFFMLRS), the running speed corresponding to three mmol/L lactate level (RSCTMLL) and the maximal aerobic speed obtained from Yo-Yo Endurance Test Level 1 by regression (YOYO1MASR) to determine the training load in football and the parameters of the total relative distance covered during the match (TRDCDM), relative distance covered at high intensity (RDCHI) and the maximal sprint speed in the match (MSSM). In addition, this study examines the relationship between the YOYO1MASR and the MAS calculation (YOYOMAS) parameters estimated with the final speed from the Yo-Yo test. Material and Method: Nineteen voluntary football players who play in the Turkish 1st Football League participated in this study. The players were given the Yo-Yo Endurance Level 1 Test and the Modified Shuttle Test and then the data obtained were recorded via GPS system in the following 5 practice matches. The data were analysed by Spearman Correlation Test. Findings: The relationship between YOYO1MASR parameter and RDCHI parameter was found to be statistically highly significant (r = 0.74-p <0.05). On the other hand, a moderately significant relationship was observed between the ATFFMLRS data and TRDCDM parameter, while a statistically highly significant relationship was found with the RSCTMLL data (r = 0.69-p <0.05 / r = 0.72-p <0.05). Finally, a highly significant relationship was detected between the YOYO1MASR parameter and the YOYOMAS parameter (r = 0.92-p <0.05). No significant relationship was observed in the other data. Conclusion: The findings of the present study may suggest that the football players who need to develop in terms of TRDCDM should be trained with submaximal indicators and the football players who need to develop in terms of RDCHI should be trained with the maximal aerobic running speed parameter.
