Abstract (EN)
The research was conducted in a descriptive cross-sectional manner in order to determine the attitudes and risk perceptions of pregnant women towards sexuality. The sample of the study consisted of pregnant women (n:255) who applied to the Çankırı State Hospital Obstetrics and Gynecology Polyclinic. Research data between 13 September 2021- 31 October 2022; It was collected using the Introductory Information Form, the Attitudes towards Sexuality in Pregnancy Scale (GCTAS) and the Risk Perception During Pregnancy Scale (GRAS). Frequency analysis (number, percentage, mean), Mann Whitney U test, Kruskall Wallis H test, Shapiro-Wilk and Spearman correlation analysis were used in the analysis of the data. . It was determined that the total mean scores of GCTAS (116.07±21.26) of the pregnant women who participated in the study were moderate and statistically significant (p<0.05). The level of beliefs and values towards sexuality during pregnancy in the 18-22, 23-27 and 28-32 age groups of pregnant women and those who stated that there is a risky situation in pregnancy, the level of total attitude towards sexuality during pregnancy in pregnant women in the 1st trimester, and the level of approval of sexuality during pregnancy in pregnant women with a second pregnancy. it was found to be statistically significantly higher (p<0.05). GRAS total score averages (34.02±22.05) were found to be moderately statistically significant (p<0.05). It was found that the total risk perception level of pregnant women who stated that there was no risky situation during pregnancy was statistically significantly higher (p<0.05). In the study, it was determined that there was no statistically significant relationship between the attitudes towards sexuality and risk perceptions of pregnant women (p>0.05). It can be recommended that health professionals conduct counseling activities and organize training programs on risk perception and attitude in terms of sexuality during pregnancy.
