Asymptotic formulas for generalized Szász-Mirakjan operators

This master's thesis is divided into five sections. The first section is the introductory part. The second section provides the basic definitions, properties, theorems and auxiliary theorems of the theory of approaches. The third section introduces generalized Szász-Mirakjan operators, examines approximation properties in weighted spaces, and performs central moment calculations by providing the theorems to be used in the following section. The quantitative Voronovskaja and quantitative Gruss-Tip-Voronovskaja theorems are obtained using the weighted continuity module in the fourth section, and spatial cases for the classical Szász-Mirakjan operators are presented. The results of the thesis are discussed in the final section.
