Abstract (EN)

Microarray-based analysis of gene expression is very important experimental systems for biomedical research. However, if the analysis of the data obtained from these experiments is not supported with appropriate software tools, either no results can be obtained or erroneous results are obtained. For this reason, programs that can analyze these data with the desired quality and visualize it with graphic systems are very important for researchers working in this field. When the software currently being used is examined, it is seen that they have one or more deficiencies such as not being open source, not allowing the download of required reports, not having sufficient graphic support, not working independently of the operating system, or not using up-to-date algorithms and technologies. The development of new software that does not have such shortcomings will be important for basic science researchers and clinicians who are doing or planning to perform microarray-based gene expression analysis. In this thesis, an easy-to-use and free web tool, GEOMT (GEO Microarray Tool), was designed for GEO analysis. GEOMT will be a valuable tool, especially for researchers without further programming and algorithm proficiency or bioinformatics knowledge.
