Problems caused by migration on East Turkestan women living in Turkey

Uyghur Turkish society, which has been under Chinese occupation since 1949, is exposed to systematic discriminatory and exclusionary policies despite being recognized as a minority nationality by the Chinese government. The human rights violations, social injustice, discrimination and assimilation policies implemented by the Chinese government against East Turkestan people have reached their peak with the existence of concentration camps today. Systematic tortures carried out with assimilation policies aimed at erasing the deep-rooted Turkish and Muslim identity of East Turkestan have now turned into an important agenda item in the international media, and have been officially recognized as the "Uyghur Genocide" by many Western governments. As a result of the endless restrictions and persecution of the CCP administration, East Turkestan people who had to immigrate unwillingly from their homeland under very difficult conditions immigrated to Turkey, where they thought they could live their culture comfortably. The people of East Turkestan, who generally live with a residence permit in Turkey, have faced many problems during and after the migration process. This study will try to deal with all aspects of the problems faced by women from East Turkistan residing in Turkey after migration and the process of integration into Turkey.
