Revision of genus Hyacinthella schur (Liliaceae) in South Eastern Anatolia region

Hyacinthella genus is represented with 17 species in the World and Hyacinthella genus is represented with 10 taxa in Turkey. Nine of these species are endemic to our country (Persson ve Pearsson 1992). The endemism ratio of the Genus is 90% and two species of Hyacinthella grow (Hyacinthella nervosa (Bertol.) Chouard, Hyacinthella siirtensis B. Mathew) in South Eastern Anatolia. In this study, the distribution of these species were determined and, their morphological and anatomical features defined.In this study, morphological characteristics such as onions, leaf, flower, and fruit of Hyacinthella nervosa and Hyacinthella siirtensis were examined.In the anatomical researches, epidermis, scalp and leaf were examined, reported by photographs and drawings.Key Words: Hyacinthella, Anatomy, Morphology, South Eastern Anatolia
