Abstract (EN)

Although art is a symbol of uniqueness, it is influenced by social experiences, cultural accumulations and changes, and the perspectives of artists reflect these changes. In the formation of art works that carry traces of both the conditions of the classical period and the conditions of the modern world, and in the reflection of art, the rules of the period in which the works were born were valid. In this direction, the subject of the study is the examination of art works within the framework of the period, and the fundamental characteristics that determine the artwork and its exhibition have been examined, and the changes that the works have undergone in the modernization process of Turkey and the world have been conveyed in the context of the effects of industrialization and modernization. The intellectual differentiation brought about by industrialization has been seen to bring about the mobility already present in human nature, migration and cultural exchange. The reflections of new concepts that represent the modern individual, which emerged as a result of the sociological concept of migration, have also been seen in art. The individual and society who are forced to migrate due to psychological, economic, and cultural conditions and become "stateless" by leaving their place, have been the focus of some works. Migration that has been ongoing between people and nations for centuries has paved the way for the formation of multicultural and multinational societies and this situation has also been reflected in museums and exhibitions. Migration that has been ongoing between people and nations for centuries has been processed in art as one of the most visible examples of the shaping of human nature in life. In this context, many artists have dealt with migration in their works and reflected the effects of statelessness in their works. Not only classical period artists, but also new graduates today have reflected the phenomenon of migration and its effects in their works, and artist candidates have processed the phenomenon of migration that has been seen for generations and as a reality of life. In the last section of the study, BASE, which appears as a dynamic formation of contemporary Turkish art, has been examined and it has been seen that statelessness is also addressed in the works of today's artists and artist candidates. Keywords: Deterritorialization, Migration, Exhibition, Artwork, Base
