Analysis of Makalât which is written by Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli and translated into Turkish by İsmail Bin Mikail in aspectsof transcription and syntax

By this work, it is intended to light up a historical part of Turkish language by analysing the syntax of a ?Makalat? translation which was done by İsmail Bin Mikail in 1063 of the Hegira. Our work consists of five parts. At the first part which we call ?introduction part?, the information about Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli?s life is given, who is the writer of the piece ?Makalat? that we made the analysis of and also the works of Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli who was the founder of Bektaşi religous order that has a deep influence in Anatolia, especially on public in thirteenth century, are introduced. Especially, the detailed information about his work , Makalat, which was the subject of our analysis, has been ranked. At the second part, a short abstract of the sources which we used while preparing our thesis is given. At the third part, the transcription of the ?Makalat? translation which was written by İsmail Bin Mikail and which we took as a basis in our work, has been presented by transcribing suitably for scientific methods by us. And on progression of this chapter, the method that we used while analysing the piece, has been specified. Our main text of thesis has been given under the symptoms and arguement head line at the fourth part. At first, according to their structure, the sentences have been analysed as ?simple sentence, tied sentences? (sequent sentence, tied sentence), replication sentences and broken sentences, at progression sentence elements of sentence units as ?subject, predicate, object, place subordinative, adverb subordinative? and elements out of sentence have been examined. Later, word groups of elements which forms the sentence have been analysed. At the last part of the fourth division, sample sentences from the piece which we scanned have been given to the terms which were identified. The fifth division is the final part. Here, the properties which are related with syntax of the piece we scanned have been considered and graphically explained. The sample sentences have been taken from Hacı Bektaş-ı Veli?s piece ?Makalat-ı Sufiyane?. There is a bibliography part at the end of the work. Finally the original of the text takes part at the end of our work under ?Additions? title.Key words: Grammar, syntax, elements of sentence, word groups.
