Hafiz in folk culture

The system, which contains the basic principles of the Islamic religion, contains the commandments of the Creator and is believed to have been sent down to guide Muslim communities, was created to protect and preserve the Holy Qur'an, the holy book of Islam, is called hafiz. This system began with the Prophet himself and over time spread to Muslim peoples around the world and has continued to this day. First of all, it was started to be done with Hz. Muhammet since 7th century and got acquainted with many different cultures, starting with the Arab culture. This situation expands the origin of hafiz and the area in which it lives and it continues to grow hafizs from all nationalities, communities, families. This research was conducted on the topic of hafiz, which has taken a place in folk culture from the past to the present. The historical process of hafiz and it is wanted to reveal the accumulation that it has accumulated by considering the various periods in which it has lived. At the same time, various methods and techniques used in hafiz were examined and the conduct of the education system was observed. In addition, it is explained that in which areas is hafiz performed and advantages and disadvantages of between this areas. In this research, the place and importance of hafiz in folk culture has been categorized in the form of individual, social and folk narratives. With these categories, it was aimed to observe the level of hafizs in individuals and society. The cultural accumulation of the people has been analyzed on hafiz, which has become a religious tradition. Researches have been carried out from these accumulations and through the sample hafiz (Akhisar-Hilaliye) foundation and the findings obtained in the research have been revealed.
