Examination of patient and disabled rights and sevices intented to people with disabilities in Bursa city center

Everybody has right to live in health, protect and improve it. In case of disability or illness, receiving every kind of support in high quality with respect and equity for recovering is one of the main human rights. Patient and disabled rights are two of the most important components of the rights to live in sanitary. The necessity for sanitary does not start after being sick or disabled. People who have no illness or disability are also in need of health care in order to protect and improve their health. The health care given to patients and disabled individuals should be in high quality and sufficient every time. To realize this we should work hard. Furthermore, there is a possibility that every body can be ill or disabled. There fore, it is important to be healthy before getting sick or disabled meaning that illness and disability should try to be prevented. When sickness and disability occur, patient rights or disability rights are required. The extent of patient and disabled rights is organized and assured with relevant legislation in Turkey and in the world. In order to provide the usage of these rights every body should obey legislation provisions. It should not be ignored that every people can be in need of these rights some day. In this study, patient and disabled rights were examined in detail. In addition to these topics the disabled profile and services intended to people with disabilities in Bursa were also included. We are of the opinion that this study will be a comprehensive source for the application patient and disabled people in Turkey.
