The works of calligrapher Çırçırlı Ali Efendi and his contributions to calligraphy

Calligrapher Çırçırlı (Haydarlı) Ali Efendi, who was a student of Şefik Bey, one of the most distinguished calligraphers of the period, lived in the XIX century and was an important artist who we can consider as a milestone in this medium especially with his stacks. However, although his name is mentioned a lot, we wanted to address this issue because no independent work has been written about him and his works have not been examined together. In order to know the value of the work of art, it is necessary to know the artist. Biography studies constitute an important place in this respect. The subject of this study is about the life and art of Çırçırlı Ali Efendi, whom master calligraphers such as Kazasker Mustafa İzzet Efendi and Sâmi Efendi praised him.
