Abstract (EN)
Target of this work is to examine airline catering sector and to forecast yearly total passenger figures -as the key indicator of the volume in the sector- in Turkey till the end of year 2020. Structure of the industry has been examined by using market shares of companies in Turkey & world wide with the assistance of Herfindahl-Hirschmann index. Aviation industry is very fragile and densely affected by economical crisis, wars and terrorist attacks. For the forecast which also may be used to decide future size of organization & operation, ARIMA models have been utilized.
