Detection of Neuroptera (insecta) fauna living around Hazar Lake

Abstract (EN)

In order to determine the Neuroptera (Insecta) Fauna which is living around the Hazar Lake of Elazığ province, field studies were conducted in 108 locations that have been pre-determined in April-September moths in 2016-2019. The fauna of the species of the Neuroptera Army of the Region was tried to be exploited by taking advantage of Atrap, Işık trap and soil larvae that is in the open areas on the shores of the Hazar Lake both in the open areas and far from the settlements. In this study, the synonyms, identification characters, localities of the species and geographic structure of the localities, host plants, and properties were determined. In the result of working; 296 individuals that has been collected, 5 families, 17 genera and 23 species were identified. The distribution of these species is; ascalaphidae family, 1 genus - 2 species; Chrysopidae family, 4 genera - 5 species; Hemerobiidae family, 2 genera - 2 species; Myrmeleontidae family, 9 genera - 1 species, and Nemopteridae family, 2 genera - 3 species. Among the identified species, Bubopsis hamatus (Klug, 1834) belonging to the Ascalaphidae family, Bubopsis andromache (U. Aspöck, H. Aspöck & H. Hölzel, 1979); Chrysopa dubitans of the Chrysopidae family (McLACHLAN, 1887), Italochrysa italica (Rossi, 1790); Euroleon nostras of Myrmeleontidae family (Geoffroy in fourcroy, 1785), Solter ledereri (Navas, 1912), Distoleon tetragrammicus (Fabricius, 1798) and Nemopteridae Nemoptera sinuata (Olivier, 1811) and Lertha sheppardi (Oliver, 1904) is the new record for Elazığ province. All other species which have been detected are the second record for province.
