Abstract (TR)
Carbazole compounds are becoming increasingly interest due to their unique optical properties and hole-transporting ability and carbazole compounds are used in a wide range of electronic and photonic applications. Especially they are utilized as charge transfer agents in LED technology. Moreover, these carbazole compounds have been reported to display various biological activities.1,3,4-oxadiazoles are important class of heterocyclic compounds because of they have a wide range of pharmacological and biological activities. For this reason, 1,3,4-oxadiazoles and carbazole containing heterocyclic compounds can be used as optical materials and biological activity chemicals. In addition, carbazole including thiophene unit exhibit some advantages involved in thiophene and carbazole.In this study, we intended to design and synthesis of novel carbazole derivaties which were substituted heteroaryl. Therefore, using 9H-carbazole thiophenecarbazole and 1,3,4-oxadiazole-carbazole derivaties were synthesized according tosynthesis schemes.These synthesized substances were purified by chromatographic methods and their structures elucidated using FT-IR and H-NMR.Keywords: Carbazole, 1,3,4-oxadiazole, thiophene, LED, biological activity
