Abstract (EN)
Organizational commitment is a concept that has gained importance for businesses in recent years. Insourcing is defined as the placement of those who are already working within the organization to the open positions; it is associated with organizational commitment and its effect on the sub-dimensions of organizational commitment are examined. In this thesis, the effect of insourcing on organizational commitment (emotional commitment, continuity commitment and normative commitment) has been studied. In addition, the effects of socio-demographic characteristics of employees such as age, gender, title, educational background and duration of service on organizational commitment have also been investigated. The first part of the research focuses on insourcing, the second part on the concept of organizational commitment, the third part is comprised of the findings and the discussion. Finally, conclusions and recommendations that can assist / guide future research have been put forward. In this research, 184 employees of a private bank, which operates in Turkey, have been reached using the method of survey that included the Allen-Meyer Organizational Commitment Scale. The data obtained from the survey and the formed hypotheses have been evaluated with Cronbach Alpha Reliability Analysis, Frequency Analysis, t test and ANOVA using SPSS 23.0.
