Abstract (EN)

Interior architectural space is shaped by its user's requirements and activities. User is the most important factor on changing a simple blank into a meaningful space. Depending on this, in this study, physical and psychological requirements are mentioned. Human being, identifies space by his sence organs. He gives meaning to the excitations that received by senses in a certain process and he participates in activities. Sensations, affect behaviours directly. One's experiences and buildups play an important role in perceiving space. In addition, such factors as attention, interest, and motive also affect perception. Eye and ear our organs of sense which direct our behaviours at most. In second chapter, in addition to visual and auditory perception; structers of eye and ear, and as in anthropometry head movements and fields of view were analysed. When our both seeing and hearing senses are addressed, learning becomes easier. Television is a necessary part of the daily life because it is a widespread communication implement. In this research, television was used as an instance for visual-auditory perception in space. What kind of place this implement takes in space and its physiological, psychological, cultural and sociological effects on human being were analysed. Finally, how to remove these effects from interior architectural space is researched.
