İhyâ Efendî Hafîdî Reşâd numûne poetry and construction

The subject of this study is Fâik Reşâd's work named Numûne-i Şi'r ve İnşâ, which also uses the signature of "İhyâ Efendî Hafîdî Reşâd". In our study, we transferred the text of the work with Arabic letters to today's Turkish alphabet. We also tried to understand and evaluate the resulting text literally. The work is taught as a textbook in Military High Schools at the time of its publication. According to the condition of the texts in the work, the language sometimes has a heavy feature with plain and sometimes Arabic, Persian words and transcriptions. By trying to understand the text as much as possible, it was tried to be evaluated in terms of our language, culture and literature. As a result of revealing and evaluating the text, valuable text samples of verse and prose types of Turkish Language and literature have emerged. This is of great importance, especially in terms of Turkish literature education. Understanding and promoting the work of Fâik Reşad, who contributed greatly with the works he gave in our literature history (İhyâ Efendî Hafîdî Reşâd), which we are trying to study, will undoubtedly contribute to our literature.
