Evaluation of the educational attainments aspect of primary school second grade music lessons according to music teachers

This research was prepared for the Music course teaching programme , inured in 2007, aiming ?Evaluation Of The Educational Attainments Aspect Of Primary School Second Grade Music Lessons According To Music Teachers?.This research is important in the aspects of the teachers? incorporation into the process and their giving feedback to the education programme who are the main units of the system.In this research descriptive survey model was used. A scale was developed to attain required information from teachers for the evaluation of primary school second grade music course attainments. The scale was analyzed according to the values of reliability, relationship between the scales, average and standard deviation values for the scales.As a result of reliability analyses, the Cronbach Alpha value of attainment-attainment correlation scale, consisting of 24 clauses, was 0,944, the Cronbach Alpha value of attainment-content correlation scale, consisting of 8 clauses, was 0,898, the Cronbach Alpha value of attainment-learning process correlation scale, consisting of 10 clauses, was 0.923 and the Cronbach Alpha value of attainment-assessment and evaluation correlation scale, consisting of 4 clauses, was 0,918. Depending on these results, it could be said that reliability of all scales are high and applicable.The scale developed by the researchers for the evaluation of the educational attainments aspect of primary school second grade music lessons according to music teachers, was applied to 57 Music teachers in Edirne who had worked in 2009-2010 education term after getting the necessary permissions from the related institutions. The information gained from the music teachers is analyzed statically in terms of the parameters such as gender, professional experience, alma mater, place of work (city or town), status of in-service training and the findings are commented with tabulating.In consequence of the result, the experience and their place of work variations are similar. In the variance of the alma mater it is obvious that most of the teachers were graduated from the department of Music Education from the faculty of educations, the majority of whom haven?t got in-service training.
