Abstract (EN)
This research has been made to define if there are differences in bullying behavior tendencies depend on several variables such as grade, gender, parent?s social, occupational, economical and educational status, number of family members, etc. and in 6th, 7th and 8th grade students and examine bullying behaviors in school life towards students? views.Research sample is limited to current students of public schools in Tuzla, Istanbul. Within this context 309 students from 4 public schools have been selected by cluster sampling technique.According to the findings it is understood that middle year students? bullying behavior tendencies show variety depend on gender, difference between arithmetic mean in sub dimensions is statistically significant except Emotional Bullying Dimension.According to fathers? occupational group, it is understood that the difference between BBTS (Bullying Behavior Tendency Scale) total points and the arithmetic means of the all points of the sub dimensions is statically significant. According to fathers? educational status, it is understood that the difference between BBTS total points and the arithmetic means of the all points of the sub dimensions is statically significant. According to mothers? educational status, it is understood that the difference between the arithmetic means of Physical Bullying and Entertainment Oriented Bullying sub dimensions is statically significant. It is understood that the difference between BBTS total points of the primary schools and the arithmetic means of the all points of the sub dimensions is statically significant.
