An Evaluation of administrative functions of educational administrators in terms of administration processes (a case study in Gaziantep)

ABSTRACT AN EVALUATION OF ADMINISTRATIVE FUNCTIONS OF EDUCATIONAL ADMINISTRATORS IN TERMS OF ADMINISTRATION PROCESSES (A CASE STUDY IN GAZİANTEP) KAYA, Ahmet M.A. in Educational Sciences Supervisor: Prof.Dr. Tokay GEDİKO?LU October, 2000, 240 Pages In this research, skills of educational administrators regarding the administrative functions in the process of administration were evaluated by the teachers. The questionnaire prepared by the researcher was administered to 312 teachers working in 50 primary schools in Gaziantep. Educational VI vmhs&mimm eserkenadministators taking administration training and those without administration training background working in these schools were also administered the same questionnaire. In the analysis of the data chi-square, frequency and percentage techniques were used. The result obtained from mis study was as follows: According to teachers, behaviours of the educatinal administrators who received administration training are better than the behaviours of these who did not receive training.
