Approach of the first degree class teachers at primary schools towards information technologies

In this Study the approach to information technologies of the first degree class teachers of Ministiry of Education working during the Education and Instruction year of 2008 -2009 in the city of Istanbul is researched.This research is composed of five basic parts:introduction, related literature,methodology, findings and comment and result, discussion and recommendations.In this Study five basic factors thought to be related to information technologies and class teachers are determined. These are: 1; seniority of the teachers and their point of view on information technologies, 2; education level of teachers and their level of tendency to information technologies and their openness to learning, 3; ages of the teachers, 4; marital status of teachers, 5; gender of the teachers.Primary Class teachers working during the Education and Instruction year of 2008- 2009 in the county of Pendik of the city of Istanbul have made up the area of the study.1343 primary class teachers from 3486 teachers of different branches working in these schools have mede up the area of this Study.And the Illustrations is made up of the randomly selected 290 teaachers working at 14 schools in Pendik.In this Study, Personal Information Form and criterion developed by the researcher is used. For the evaluation of the data, T-Test and the technique of the Anova Analysis are used and the relationship between the variables is tried to be detremined.
