Abstract (EN)

In this research, professional attitudes and behaviours of primary school teachers who are graduated from educational faculties of primary school teaching department and graduates of other department were compared. For this research a questionnaire were used which contain 57 question and 4 sub dimension. Questionnaire was to be applied in Ankara different primary schools. 100 primary school teachers who are graduated from this department and 200 primary school teacher who are graduated from other department and some school administrators were selected as sample. Differences between group means were compared by using t-test. The level of significance.05. The results of the study showed that educational faculties graduates feel themselves more efficient than other faculty graduates in preparing themselves and students to the lesson, and activities in the lesson. In evaluation of male and female teacher who are graduated from other department were seen that, females feel themselves more efficient than males and social science graduates feel themselves more efficient in preparing themselves and students to the lesson. Teachers who were taken formation course from universities feel themselves more efficient in out of school activities. Female social science graduates feel themselves more efficient in preparing themselves and students to the lesson, and activities in the lesson. Female science graduates feel themselves more efficient in out of school activities. Also females who were taken formation course from universities feel themselves more efficient in preparing themselves and students to the lesson, relation with students and out of school activities. Male social science graduates feel themselves more efficient in out of school activities. Male teachers who are taken formation course from universities feel themselves more efficient in relation with students and out of school activities.Others who were taken formation course from National Education feel themselves more efficient in preparing himself and students to the lesson. All of the administrators of school see less efficient the teacher who are not graduate from educational faculties in all dimension.
