Primary and secondary executive job satisfaction study of the relationship between the problem solving skills

The purpose of this study is to find out that if there is a relationship between job satisfaction and problem solving skills of the administrators who work in a primary and secondary schools. The other purpse of the resarch is to question that whether or not the job satisfaction and problem solving skills of the administrators of primary and secondary schools change according to the independent variables as gender, age, branch, graduated school, teaching seniority, educationlevel, teachers of the schools, number of the students, weekly working hours, seminars. The questions of the research have been asked 114 principals of whorn 24 women and 90 men in the districts of İstanbul, Cekmekoy and Sancaktepe in 2013-2014 academic year.In this study, "Problem Solving Inventory", has been used to measure the level of problem solving skills and "Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire" has been used to measure the level of job satisfaction of the administrators who work in primary and secondary schools. The dataobtained from the sampling group is analyzed in SPSS 15.0 software and commented. In the finding sanalyze frequency and percentage distribution is used, also to determine the differences between groups Independent Groups t Test, Kruskal Wallis-H test, to determine between which groups differences ocur Mann Whitney-U Analysis, to determine there lation between groups Pearson's Product-Moment Correlation Analysis is performed. When findings of there search are evaluated, as a result of Pearson'sProduct-Moment Correlation Analysis between the school administrators's problem solving ability and job satisfaction levels a meningfull relation found in a negative direction.(r=-.225; p<0.5).As a result it can be said that there is a meaningfull relation between problem solving abilities and job satisfaction of elementary and secondary school administrators.
