İmam hatip vocational courses teachers' sectarian perception: Şırnak example

It is a pedagogical fact that teachers have a great influence on children in the educational process. In Turkey there is religious education process which starts at a young age and continues until high school İmam Hatip vocational course teachers are also an important subject who participate in this religious education process and transfer the knowledge to the student. It does not seem possible for students not to be affected by the ideas and understandings of İmam Hatip vocational course teachers. Considering the fact of sect in İslam and the importance of İmam Hatip vocational course teachers in the process of the religious education, it is inevitable that the perception of sect of İmam Hatip vocational course teachers will also have an important place in religious education. In this study, we aimed to measure the secterian perception of İmam Hatip vocational course teachers working in İmam Hatip high schools in Şırnak province and its districts in the 2022-2023 academic year.
