Işıklı Gölü ve çevresindeki okullarda görev yapan öğretmenlerin göle ilişkin görüşlerinin incelenmesi

This study aims to examine the opinions of the teachers working in and around Lake Işıklı regarding the Lake. The study group of this research constitutes a total of 12 volunteer teachers which includes science, social studies and classroom teachers that work in and around the schools of Lake Işıklı. One of the qualitative research methods is the case study method which has been used in this work. A semi-structured interview format developed by the researcher was used as a data collection tool in this study.The data obtained through personal interviews with the teachers were analyzed by descriptive analysis technique. According to the data, the teachers do not have a deep knowledge about the physical structure of Lake Işıklı. In addition, it was concluded that they did not do much research on this lake. It is proven that when the teachers talk about the structure of the lake, they superficially emphasize its physical features and they refer to the economic activities carried out at the lake. It has been concluded that Lake Işıklı is under threat based on the explanations made by each teacher, since the teachers have a consensus that the lake does not preserve its naturalness. The reasons why most of the teachers think that this pond is under threat is based on the human activities that are being carried out at the lake. Village people, students and teachers can be informed in order to preserve the natural structure of the lake. Plans and projects can be designed under the title of protecting Lake Işıklı. Aswell as the natural beauty of it can be promoted by organizing social activities related to the lake. Furthermorelake-related trips can be arranged.
